I must admit that I loved this book as a child for one reason only: the pickles. They are randomly dispersed throughout the illustrations, and it becomes a delightful "Where's Waldo?"-esque kind of game to find all the pickles. The rest of the story is cute, too, but the real fun is the pickle hunt. My three-year-old gets a big hoot out of this one too!

I used to read this to my children and haven't been able to find the book. Now I have it to share with my grandkids. It's so much fun I don't know why more books haven't done similiar things. It's a great "starter" book for other books with hidden objects in them.
