5.0 out of 5 stars An inspiring story to any young reader who has big dreams of their own, September 18, 2009
This review is from: The Richest Kids In America: How They Earn It, How They Spend It, How You Can Too (Paperback)
Entrepreneur is not a title that is limited by age. "The Richest Kids in America" tells the story of many young kids who took business into their own hands to earn a great deal of money, more than others make in their entire lives before the young age of eighteen. Covering how they found out what they wanted to do, how to get started when one can't even drive, finding support, and how youthful business leads to youthful optimism and philanthropy, "The Richest Kids in America" is an inspiring story to any young reader who has big dreams of their own.

I love this book. I first heard about it at CEO Space ([...]), where I met both Mark Victor Hansen and one of the kids featured in the book, Olivia Bennett. I had to have the book, and have recommended it to many of my friends and family members. I also suggest it for you!

In a climate of economic uncertainty, this book proves that the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in some of our kids, and provides encouragement to others to fix the mess our current (2009) semi-Socialist generation of government (that has no clue about Capitalism--or doesn't care!) is making for us.

I suggest replacing some of our current textbooks with this book. Every child (and parent) in America should read this book!

Inspirational! Regardless of your age, young or old this book will inspire you to dig deep within yourself and ask "What are my given talents, what do I love to do, what am I passionate about and how can I make a difference?" If you have young children or teens figure out a way to get your child to read this book. Even consider paying them $20 bucks to read it and then ask them to write a report on their favorite "Richest Kid in America". It just may be the best $20 bucks you ever spend.
Inspire and empower! Denise Winston

It's no secret that most businesses fail within the first five years, many within the first two. Why? I think many people lack the basic knowledge that's provided by the teenagers and young adults interviewed in The Richest Kids in America. After reading this book I felt encouraged! I think any child or adult would benefit from this book, and that's why I've been referring it to everyone! This isn't just for kids. This is for every entrepreneur! GREAT Job Mr. Hansen!

Thank you Mark! Thank you Kids! My life is incredibly enriched with this book. I have a new family (I've met these kids and their parents) and now I have a book to give to EVERY kid I know to inspire his or her entrepreneurial future. Mark asked me to design this book, gave me total creative freedom, and I had a blast. This book is very close to my heart, as I was a young entrepreneur myself (sold drawings, of course). I have met these kids, and fallen in love with them. They are absolutely amazing, and Mark is making their ventures and inspiration possible for all to experience through this wonderful book. Bravo Mark!

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and Inspiring!, July 22, 2009
This review is from: The Richest Kids In America: How They Earn It, How They Spend It, How You Can Too (Paperback)
Powerful and Inspiring by the master of potential story telling!

I've been seeking a good book to give to young people to inspire them - especially now during this recession. There is too much talk of government bailouts so Mark's book has come at the right time. Each story will show, in a different way, the path to success of very different people. Great, compelling and very personal on some levels.

Well, well recommended.

I'll also recommend some new editions of some very old books that are working for the kids I care about, I think you'll like them too.

Thank you Mark!

I would love to share my opinion with you, but I haven't received it as yet. That's right, the vender is an idiot. I will never buy another book from amazon if you continue to use SDS. Now you can rate my review. Jack Rallo
