The Best Financial Advice You Could Ever Get!!!!,
By Alfonso Castaneira (Dreamgineer@msn.com) (Tampa, Florida USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Richest Man in Babylon: Audio: The Laws of Financial Success Are the Same Today As They Were Over 6000 Years Ago (Audio Cassette)
This is the only time that I've been excited about a financial book or in this case audio tape program. It is full of fun ancient stories that are as relevant today as they were 5,000 years ago. If you read no other book on money and finances read or listen to this one.

Wow, enough good things just can't be said about this work!Clason's brilliant guidance takes the form of a few simple, accessible, yet staggeringly powerful principles illustrated multiple times, in different contexts and angles, throughout the book. Absolutely perfect for the average person, never far away from money trouble and always acting foolish with money; finance gurus might be disappointed by the nature of the advice but are bound to enjoy the archaic interpretations. Excellent story-telling makes every principle strong and memorable, and the ancient-world setting makes truly understanding these lessons, and seeing them in example as well as in our own lives, a fun delight that leaves a firm impact. Not only is the book amazing, but this particular audio production is actually the very best I've ever heard. Dramatized voices, performance, background and foley sounds, and especially theme music were superb. The musical accompaniment (?) to the slave's struggle to survive the desert was easily the best music, and scene, I've ever heard in a recorded book! I had the great blessing of absorbing this knowledge at the age of twenty; within weeks I've grown many times wiser. The only possible complaint in this work is a pagan theme and the author's own admiration of Babylon, but these do nothing to hinder the message or benefits of the work. Even the cover art is cool. What a winner! |
