This is the exact same as the original. There is nothing worded differently save for the chapter names themselves with "The Tale of" preceding the original name.

The book itself is a very quick read. Its pages are bigger than the original version thus explaining the reason for the fewer pages. Has some very good principals on how to earn, keep, and further build your money. This book made a lot of millionaires. Which means for 10 bucks, you're making a great investment.

Couple things I like about this version is the fact that the font is a little bit bigger and easier to read; secondly, they gave a one sentence summary at the end of the chapter to help the reader get the meaning of what was read.

All in all, a good revision; necessary? I'm not entirely sure but still, you're not being cheated or refrained from any wisdom compared with the original. Good stuff.

For me, there are several core books and other sources of information that that I re-read or re-listen-to periodically so I don't stray too far from their sage advice.

"The Richest Man in Babylon" is one of those core sources. I prefer reviewing this source by listening to the CD while driving in my car.

With regard to powerful personal finance, if you only ever have ONE core book/source make this your one book/CD.

This is one of the best books I have read. However it got ruined by bnpublishing. The format and text jump from one place to another. I have a feeling (after reading this edition) that the publisher copy and paste the Microsoft Word version of the book and just print it out w/o even look at how the paragraph turn out to be. Heck, my ebook look better than this version of bnpublishing. So stay away from this edition. Look for the yellow cover edition instead. Nothing has been changed!!!!

This is written for those who want good advice, but are not trying to take over the world or be a trillionaire or some wall street guru.

It is basic info. WE ALL COULD AND SHOULD HAVE HAD at a young age.

It is for those of us who believe in God and want good financial advice that respects God and not just making money for the sake of getting rich.

The principles and advice in here are for ALL, I mean ALL - This is not wall street jargon and stuff for rich people trying to get richer, it is common sense stuff anyone can use at any time. BUY IT

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to become debit free and wealthy. Read this book with your heart, not just your eye's. Become the character's that you're reading about in each of the story's, they are going through the same money problems like you. I purchased my first copy of this book 4 yrs. ago. I followed it's advise to the letter(but I used the 10% to pay off debit first) and within 18 month's, I was debit free from being $15,000.00 in the hole. I now have $20,000.00 saved and no debit. Thank God for the AUTHOR for writing such a great inexpensive book, and to the person who recommended it to me, and Thank God I can (FOLLOW DIRECTION'S). IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!! Raulh from Chicago

This book should be required reading in every school district in the country. I first read it 35 years ago when I was beginning my career. But, the information in this very short read will stand on its own merits forever. Please buy this for yourself, for your child or for your grandchildren.

Was recomended by Anthony Robbins in one of his books. Very happy i got it. Already passed it on to my brother and some freinds. A must read, and an short easy read. Thx.

this book was recommended to me a quarter of a century ago when I was a quarter of a century old; at twenty five years old, broke and unhappy about my life's direction and outlook with no money and no financial plan that worked.

Mr. Bell (who worked for AT&T when it broke off the baby Bell's) in Northeast Atlanta Georgia told me to read it and it changed my life for the better money wise, otherwise my life was right where I planned and I hoped that improving my situation in money matters would be the solution to any woes I might have had. Long since having lost touch with Mr. Bell I continue to thank him frequently and give him credit. And I give this as a gift to graduates and younger family members frequently.

having said that I hate the new cover and I really liked geo s. clason's pen name of Og Mandino better. If you judge a book by it's cover make this an exception.

I bought these as gifts for high school graduates. If you follow the plan it works every time!

this book gives you simple steps to stay and get out of debt!!! when i started reading this book i couldn't put it down!!!!
