Steven Scott's book is full of pearls of wisdom from King Solomon, the richest man who ever lived.

The author had lived a life of failure up to the point that he was challenged to read one chapter of Proverbs (one of Solomon's books of wisdom) daily. This plan allowed him to read through the entire book monthly (some months he had to read two chapters a day as Proverbs has 31 chapters). He read through the entire book numerous times and has had great results.

What Scott experienced was life changing. He transformed from a failure to a super successful person financially and otherwise. During his journey in learning from Solomon's wisdom, Scott categorized the Proverbs into 46 categories. He has included 15 of those in this book.

This is a terrific book that certainly has the potential to be life altering for those wise enough to apply its precepts. Highly recommended.

If you only real one book this year, this is the one. Steven Scott has found Gold and reproduced it in this book. The first or second chapter took my business to the next level. I had to read it twice just to begin to glean what was being taught. I loaned it to my boss and he bought 15 copies to give to his employees!! Very Powerful!!! There is no other book that even comes close to this profound book.

Really powerful book containing wisdom that has withstood the test of time. Not only has everything been written in understandable, down-to-earh language, the teachings of the Proverbs are actually fun to read.

Regardless of your religious believes, this book teaches you without judgement. After completing the book, make a summary for yourself and look at it - preferrably every day - so you will breathe knowledge. And when it's in your system, aim for wisdom.

It's too short to tell whether it has changed my life so far, but it has at least enriched it.

a great book to read if you want to understand how to build lasting wealth, and are not just out to get rich quick.

If you want to take your life to another level then read this.

I was very impressed with this book. The author has definately studied the book of Proverbs in great depth and researched the language and context in which it was written to draw out the meat of the material for his readers. He has even laid out a system for you to plan your goals and to work your plan. Very solid material. But... he is also the king of infomercials (how he got rich) and has not passed up the opportunity to profit from his available suplimentary materials for sale on his website for a pretty penny. After reading the book, I was interested in the suplimental materials that he offered, but found that said materials were unjustifyably overpriced, so I opted not to buy them. The book is great, and if you are disciplined enough to follow the directions therein, you will see significant progress in achieving your dreams, whatever they may be.

Updated 5/4/09 - On second time through the book as a small group study at church. I am getting even more out of my second reading, and the group is really benefitting as well. Glad I am taking more time this time through, answering the questions in depth, and working on my vision map. As a note to readers: be diligent and make sure that you complete your vision map and answer all the questions at the end of each chapter rather than reading straight through the book as I did the first time.

I got this book back in early 2007. Actually, I got the book, and, as I tend to do, by the time it arrived I had forgotten what made me so excited to buy it. After a few weeks, I got to it and read it through in about two days.

The book really got me thinking about implementing that nugget of wisdom to read Proverbs daily corresponding the day to the chapter (today's the 8th so I read the 8th chapter). I had to put myself on a program to be consistant.

Well, I've been reading Proverbs for a little under a year now and I can tell you, as for me, it has really made me grow in some areas. I'm still learning and am thankful that I bought the book (even if I didn't read it immediately).

Who knew something so simple could be so powerful and life changing?

This book is a must read not only for people interested in business, but interested in living a great life. The author brilliantly explains how the Book of Proverbs in the Bible are the laws of life that God gave to King Solomon. This author also has another book about the Mission of Jesus which is next on my list. Seller provided fast shipping and the book was in great condition.

Having heard about the author, Steven Scott and his book on a T.V. program, I wanted to read his book myself. It becomes evident early on in the book that the author has studied the life of King Solomon in great detail and he digs nuggets of gold from those written scriptures about Solomon's life. The life lessons given by
Solomon are as relevant today as they were when written some 4000 years ago.
Solomon was known for his wisdom and I trust this book will be known for the wisdom it brings to its readers as well.

This book was recommended by another reviewer and it really made me more aware of the need to read the Proverbs everyday and really look at how at times my own wisdom has been displaced or placed.
