5.0 out of 5 stars The greatest pianist of the century, April 7, 2000
This review is from: Richter - In Prague (Audio CD)
When I first heard this set of CDs almost 5 years ago, I couldn't believe piano playing could be so sublime. Richter let me really hear the piano for the first time. He is the greatest recorded pianist and this is probably his best collection of recordings. The Beethoven disks alone make this set invaluable.

5.0 out of 5 stars sublime, February 21, 2012
This review is from: Richter - In Prague (Audio CD)
The recordings are just OK quality, some are in Mono and date back as far as 1956. There is a lot of audience noise, coughing, etc. But nothing nothing can take away the feeling of amazement and awe at Richter's playing. He was without doubt one of the greatest pianists that ever lived, and we can feel privileged to listen to these sublime performances.
