This book is a perfect complement to the hilarious Rick & Bubba radio show. Rick & Bubba have stayed true to their down home, witty and poignant humor, and have delivered another winner with The Rick & Bubba Code. It's a good clean book packed full of good clean fun.

In the Rick and Bubba Code, you will unlock secrets that have been hidden for "thousands of years - or at least a couple of weeks", and you'll have a great time doing it. You can learn things like the advantages and disadvantages of being a man, the advantages of being a woman (which is summed up in one sentence!), the father's day wars, the Rick and Bubba Code to marriage accounting, any my own personal favorites, decoding physical fitness, how Bubba met Betty and how Rick met Sherri. And that's just the first few chapters!

To say that this book is worth the price just to get the picture of the Mona Lisa with a mullet is a HUGE understatement. (By the way, did you know Rick and Bubba once saw the Mona Lisa? You can find out about that in the book, too!) This book will keep you entertained from cover to cover, and you may just want to read it again!

Did I mention that the book also comes with a "best of" CD that I haven't even had time to listen to yet because I've been so enthralled with the book?

This is a very funny book that I could relate to. These guys are funny on the radio and even funnier in the book.

I love these guys. They are so funny. It's refreshing in this day and age to hear and read material from these guys. It's good, clean, family humor. The CD included owns me. TOOOO FUNNY! I hope they keep the books coming.

As always, another Rick and Bubba blow-out success! Got the book day before yesterday and I'm going to start reading it for the 2nd time when I get home...I love these guys. They're hilarious and smart and I SOOOO miss them being on TV. Going to go order another book and have it sent to my mother, and maybe one to my sister...and so on it goes. The self-proclaimed "two sexiest fat men alive" return with their second book. And this time they promise to unlock the secrets of the universe.

"The Rick and Bubba Code" is full of humorous observations on the day to day realities of life. As is always apparent on their hit-radio show, Rick and Bubba are two "regular" guys, trying their best every day to be the type of men they need to be in their profesional and personal lives--and like all of us, occasionally falling short. The good news is the guys have a great sense of humor about it and their families either don't mind that they're sharing these stories with the world or gave up being embarassed years ago, figuring there was nothing they could do about it.

The stories and anecedotes contained here are witty and full of the witness that makes Rick and Bubba so great. With Rick and Bubba you have two guys who are authentically and unashamedly living out there walk with Jesus...and they are never afraid to share it. Without getting preachy, the guys are able to share not only funny stories on understanding their wives and families, but also to talk about the most important issues of life.

The book is funny, insightful and very accessible. Fans of the show will eat it up and those who haven't discovered Rick and Bubba yet are in for a treat. And it even includes a "Best of..." CD so you can get the full effect of the guys in their element.

An entertaining read. You know what you are getting with these two guys! I recommend it to anyone!

You can't help but love the two sexiest men alive! Great book and very entertaining! I suggest everyone buy this book and listen to these two guys on the radio. They ROCK!!

Recently, I walked through my local bookstore looking for something new, different, and exciting to read. I wanted a book that would challenge my intellectual side. I also wanted a book that would toy with my emotions making me laugh and possibly cry (I am a man so I do not readily admit to crying). I did not expect to find one book that would do both, but then I saw The Rick and Bubba Code. The front cover disturbed me, and the back cover promised what I was looking for. I quick perusal of the page of the introductory material told me I found both my books in one package. I walked out of the store into the mall proud of my find.

In the interval time sense my purchase I experienced the pleasure of reading this thought provoking and side-splitting treatise. Rick and Bubba are among the elite philosophers of the ages and in their own right are high caliber sages. Their insight into the plight of humanity provides their readers (of whom there should be more) with the practical information they need to survive and succeed in this world. Rick and Bubba's philosophy may not be "politically correct," but is not the combination of the terms "political" and "correct" an oxymoron? Rick and Bubba are simply correct!

I strongly, emphatically, ardently, zealously, and enthusiastically recommend this book to every person in America - nay, everyone in the English speaking world. I even suggest that Rick and Bubba's Code be used in classes to teach English. Would not the world be a better place if we all talked as they do and would learn to see the world as Rick and Bubba do?

I foresee (and long for) the day when the institutions of higher learning in our nation have a course of study (and entire department including buildings and libraries) dedicated to learning and to the implementation of the Code. One day our country will have a President that holds a Ph D, R. B. C. (Doctor of Philosophy in the Rick and Bubba Code). When these events occur our nation and the world will truly be blessed.

A warning or two are necessary at this point. 1) All those who have lost their sense of humor and "think more highly of themselves than they ought." You WILL NOT enjoy this book. If however, you can laugh at yourself while you polish off a quart of chocolate ice cream this is a must read. 2) You may not agree with all of Rick and Bubba's conclusions or opinions. There are some topics and proclamations that concern this reviewer, however, even Rick and Bubba have the right to be wrong now and again.

Admittedly this is my first review for Amazon.com. I have however written a number of critical reviews for theological books in an academic setting. I have also had reviews published in different online formats and in professional magazines.
