Lots of useful info on Rickenbacker guitars, but I was disappointed that there was no information of Rickenbacker Electric Basses

4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight but interesting, April 17, 2006

This review is from: The Rickenbacker Book: A Complete History of Rickenbacker Electric Guitars (Hardcover)
This book is a more lightweight, introductory version of the book "Rickenbacker" by Richard Smith. However, this book is interesting in its own right, with photos of different Ricks to those shown in "Rickenbacker". Additionally, it's all in color, which is a plus. While by no means comprehensive, this is still an interesting read and essential for anyone who is a Rickenbacker fanatic, like me. I bought this book brand new at list price 10 years ago in a bookstore, I can't believe the price it's going for now!!!

I really enjoyed the book. However, I wish the authors had included the company's bass guitars as well. A new updated edition is greatly needed.
