I already owned the replica version Niners helmet w/red color face mask.
(It was cheaper obviously than an authentic one. I was still in college back then so didn't have the money.) But after seeing the new riddell shell design, I decided on making the purchase on the authentic one. Got it in time for the 3rd game of the season and guess what? Call me superstitious but my Niners are undefeated (4-0) since then! I know they're in the weakest of all divisions (NFC West) in the NFL but you gotta give them props for being 6-1. Don't wanna jinx anything but they'll win the division and be in the playoffs this year. I think they could be a dark horse and actually upset some of the better teams and maybe even make it to the Super Bowl. Boy would that be GREAT!!! Don't have anything bad to say about this helmet since it is what it is. I mean if you're a fan of football and have a favorite team, I would definitely recommend it.
