5.0 out of 5 stars Romance, Intrigue, & Idaho = Great Book!, February 16, 2012

This review is from: Ride the Thunder (Kindle Edition)
Jordanna Smith is a woman every man wants and every woman wants to be. Her father is rich, she spends part of her time globe trotting, hunting big game. No man is good enough for her, because no man can compare to her father. Then one night at a party the stoked fires within her are set ablaze by a stranger.

Jordanna flees to the mountains of Idaho with her father's hunting party to escape the memories of that one passionate night. She is stunned when they meet their guide, Brig McCord, because he was the man who poured gas on her fire.

Brig is not happy! He doesn't want to guide this group or anybody, but needs the money to save his ranch. Brig is absolutely not going to take Jordanna on the hunt, as he considers her a novice and doesn't want to be slowed down. But alas, no Jordanna, no hunting party.

The hunting party, by day, climbs the rugged terrain of the Idaho mountains; by night passions soar between complete strangers.

But all is not as it seems; danger lurks nearby in the beautiful majestic surroundings. Someone is trying to scare off or kill Brig or is Johanna their target?

I have read most of Janet Dailey's books, but this is another favorite of mine. Having read over and over years ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see it on Kindle. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
