In my opinion, the Rider-Waite Tarot deck is the ugliest deck I've ever seen, and the most old fashioned. I can't understand why most Tarot institutes and teachers recommend this deck. Is it easier to learn? I doubt it. The drawings are awful and I definitively wouldn't dare to give a Tarot reading with it.
