Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Since 1923, Ridgid has remained the symbol of certainty to dedicated professionals of the expert trades. We at the Ridge tool company take this heritage seriously. This is why every tool that bears the Ridgid brand is engineered to the same high standards of quality, strength, and endurance as was that first heavy-duty pipe wrench more than 80 years ago. Cutting has never been easier with the Ridgid 34403 press snap soil pipe cutter. This tool expands the capabilities of Ridgid's standard press tools by providing a fast and easy way to cut cast iron soil pipes. This press snap cutter works with all of Ridgid's standard press tools including the CT-400, 320-E, RP 330B and the RP-330C. The 34403 will cut most 1-1/2 - 4-Inch soil pipes in seconds. There is no manual ratcheting or additional tools required, simply connect the press snap cutter to a Ridgid press tool, wrap the chain around the soil pipe and press.

Extremely disappointed in this tool. Ridgid generally is a quality tool but this tool has no adjustability in snugging the chain so if your not paying very careful attention it will not cut straight. Also the indexing is wrong as 4" pipe must be cut using the 3" setting. This is a boat anchor as no one wants to use it!
