I've read the manual and loosened the two cap screws underneath, aligned the blade, then tighten the two cap screws, but the blade will not stay square. It's off by almost a full degree. When the framing square is flush against the blade, it is angled off the fence by 1/8". It seems like the miter lock handle throws it off every time it is snugged up. This is too frustrating to deal with. I'm going to take it back to Home Depot and buy the DeWalt. I was sucked in by the Ridgid lifetime warranty, but that sounds like a farce from the posts I've read at [...]

Saw didnt cut straight out of the box. But I was attracted by the warentee. Took alot of time to get it square when others are square out of the box. After light use, it quit working and Home Depot charged me $35 to ship for repair promising that it would be covered under warentee. After a lengthy battle, I was told that the motor, switch and pretty much everything else was excluded from the warrentee. P.O.S., dont buy!!!
