First I would like to say I absolutely love Ridgid tools. I have been buying/using them for 30 years when they only made plumbing tools. This is the first Ridgid neumatic nailer I have bought. Maybe I just got a bad one but this thing would make a better hammer to drive finish nails than to use it correctly. This thing jams within every 5 pulls of the trigger sometimes twice in a row! It got so bad I started saving the 2 1/2 nails in a baggie and now it's almost full! Before you think it's "this or that" I tried every pressure setting, hose/coupler size combination and of course oiled it per the manual.
Not only does it jam but it has a quick release "nose" where supposedly you open and just pull out the nail; Wrong!
You have to use a "vice-grip" locked onto the nail to pull it out! I have a Bostich 18g and I can't remember it jamming on me.
The worst part is the life time warranty, I e-mailed Ridgid and they won't even respond!! I seriously am thinking of switching brand loyalty over to Milwaukee!

I've been using this gun now everyday for a few week. I've put up around 4000ft of T&G paneling and it hasn't let me down yet! Very nice gun, it's light weight and easy to get use to. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars is because I've been shooting 1&3/4" and 2" nails and it doesn't always drive them all the way in even with the depth set as deep as it'll go so I have to then get my nail set out and finsh driving the nail in. Not a big deal but just adds extra time to the job. Otherwise this is a great gun for the money and would prob buy again!

This finish nailer is great. Light weight, easy to use and works perfectly. The only problem I have had is finding nails for this gun in small quantities. Lowes and all the major hardware stores want to sell you a package of thousands of nails. I only needed hundreds in various lengths. Fortunately I found a nail supplier on the internet that sold a variety pack of nails which fit my needs.

I bought this gun 2 years ago when I replaced all my tools, it was cheaper. I have a home improvement company and do alot of trim work. This gun works as good if not better than the hitachi or senco I used for years. Bought a dewalt it shoots half the time. This gun shoot fine through any material. Most my trim guns are ridgid. The best 15 gauge I have owned.

Love this nailer! I had a 16 gauge and 18 gauge and just got tired of mixing up the straight clip nails. These 15 gauge nails have a half round head and hold better than the 16s. I use for paint grade trim.
Pros:
*Lightweight Magnesium
*Angled design to get into awkward spots
*Easy to load, easy to unjam with flip open front
*No mar tip
*Swivel belt clip and hose attachment make it easy to carry
*Bump mode works great with my tiny hot dog compressor at 115 PSI

Cons:
*Supplied eye protection are a bit big on my face.

I have this exact gun and it works flawlessly, always. I don't properly lubricate nearly enough, I've used a dirty strip of nails or two, used dirty air, nailed Hardy to Hardy(ok I got a jam or two there...but hey...) Otherwise it has done way way better than expected, and even came with the multi angle npt fitting included. Used by a professional, a lot for years. I'd like a lockback for the nail loading tensioner and a better belt clip, that's pretty nitpicky but.. All thisThis using Porter Cable nails bought at Home Depot.
