Book Description

Second title in the paranormal erotic romance trilogy by KD Grace, set in the Lake District.

Cassandra Larkin keeps her ravenous and dangerous sexual appetite secret until she seduces Anderson in the mysterious void of the Ether. Anderson is the sexy, insatiable ghost who can give her exactly what she needs. But sex is dangerous in a place like the Ether...

When the treacherous demon, Deacon, discovers the truth about the origin of Cassandra’s powerful lust, he plots to use her sex magic for revenge on Tara Stone and the Elemental Coven, who practice their own brand of sex magic. Cassandra must embrace the lust and sexuality she fears and learn to use its power.

Will she stand with Anderson, Tara, and the Elemental Coven against Deacon’s wrath or suffer the loss of friendship, magic and love?

This second book in the series picks up right where the first left off as the coven has to work together to fight the increasingly powerful demon, Deacon. In this story we have Cassandra, who has a unique ability that can only be brought out fully by the ghost Anderson. They can only be together in the Ether though which can be dangerous, so their attraction could get them killed. Cassandra wants answers though and is willing to brave everything to get them as her coven needs her. She must embrace her past for the future she wants with Anderson. This story is hot from the beginning and as sex is what fuels them, you see lots of sexual encounters. Surprisingly, these scenes gave great insight into the characters and I found myself completely immersed in their lives. Along with the main characters you get a glimpse of characters from the past who add to an already exciting and fast-paced story that leaves you clamoring for the next installment.

By Gaele
Format:Kindle Edition
Picking up after the first book, the danger to the characters is increasing, and the Elementals are facing threats from a Demon who wants to piggyback to earth to wreak havoc. As I had hoped, characters are firming up their stories, and their voices are getting more individualized and dynamic as the story is progressing. With a return of the relationship of Marie and Tim, and the introduction of the very flawed Cassandra and her lover Anderson there are several characters to enjoy or despise depending on your perspective.

Of course, much of the recharge of the coven's magic is gathered through sexual activity - and there is plenty of that in nearly every configuration, to light all fires! From ménage to lesbian, gay and even straight (although not vanilla) combinations and scenes, the book fairly scorches your fingertips while the story has you dying to know who prevails in the battle to outwit the demon.

With suspense enough to bring you to the edge of your seat, and a solid mystery and evident teamwork from members in the coven this book will keep you turning pages to the end.

I received an eBook from the author for purpose of honest review for the Jeep Diva. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Reading the Paranormal Review February 6, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Oh, hey! Sexy read, here. No lie. There is sexin' of the multiple variety going on within these pages. Multiple meaning that you get guy on guy, girl on girl, guy on girl, guy on guy on girl, girl (being forced by a demon to do things she wouldn't normally do) on guy... and, well, pretty much any combination you can think of. It's exhausting. In a good way.

Anderson and Cassandra had some serious steam. Cassandra's abilities make her deadly and she's had to reign herself in for so long that when they come together things start smoking. Lest you think this book is all about the sex, it's not. In between bouts of loving (and self-pleasuring, if the situation calls for it), the two of them - along with the rest of the coven - have to figure out what's going on with the diabolical Deacon and how to put him for good. Deacon's crafty and very bad and he does his best to keep ahead of them at every turn.

I like the people who are slowly orbiting into the coven's world. Cassandra, who brings along Ferris and a whole host of questions about her father. Alice and Serina who have both been abused by Deacon in his lust for power. Not all of them stick around, but it's interesting to see how they fit in when they're there.

This is one book where you have to expect a whole lot of sex or you're going to be overwhelmed by it. Guys, the sex is epic. Dare I say... it's an orgy of delight. No lie. There's sex and then there's sex with a sex coven. This book is the latter.
