Love the glasses; I have a number of Riedel wine glasses and thought I try the beverage glasses. They are terrific for a weekend cocktail. Beautiful design, clean and sleak also fine in the dishwasher.

A beautiful, delicate glass for sparkling water or an ice-cold beer. Perfect for weekend relaxing, looks great and makes the beverage more enjoyable.

Part of you wants to say ... Hey what did you bring home from the Chem. Lab; and the rest of you screams ... pure elegance and simplicity. Delicate and sheer this ain't no Lab Class beaker.

Update: I'm back and buying this wonderful glass. Oh ... and whoever thought that this beautiful but delicate glass could/should really be run through the dishwasher ... ... really ... come on. No as beautiful as this glass is ... it must be hand washed.

Great items, but they are Riedel, non better. These are great bar and general use glassware. The simplicity is excellent. They feel great in your hand.

Over the past 4 years I have purchased 3 sets of these glasses. The final one broke last week. Now I have none.

I've never had a glass that "felt" so right...light, smooth, clear...simply made drinks taste better. Sounds silly but it's true.

BUT----these glasses are fragile. And I mean SUPER fragile. Just placing them IN the dishwasher can lead to breakage. Shutting the DW door must be done softly. Even when hand-washing them, they can break. I actually had one break when I sat it down too hard on a granite counter top.

All this being said, I'm ordering a couple more----while they're intact, they're awesome.

The Riedel H2O Highball glass is such a nice, simple design. It feels great in the hand and on the lips. It's diameter and thin, clean-cut walls enhance this experience. Sparkling beverages like beer are truly sublime to drink from and view in these.

A small, easy-to-remove adhesive sticker on the glass claims it's made of lead-free, tyrol crystal. It certainly feels to be of a very high quality, almost "lab grade" material in it's smoothness, cut, clarity, thickness consistency and precision.

A possible bonus for film, robotic, or extracted juice/smoothie geeks: I'm not certain, but pretty sure this is the actual brand/model of glassware prop used in the movie Iron Man by character, Tony Stark, as he drinks the blended, green smoothie during a late-night engineering session in his drafting design lab.

I bought two sets of these glasses and so far, after only a few uses, two have broken. One in the dishwasher and one during hand washing. Perhaps the glasses I have were defective, but be forewarned that these are very fragile. That said, I do have other Riedel O (Merlot) and H2O (water/juice) glasses, and I've not had this same problem with those.

These are great glasses. Thin, large enough to hold about 120z of water. A good buy and an absolutely terrific glass.

These glasses are ultimate in aesthetic and appeal. Lightweight, perfectly clear lead-free crystal but fragile. Definitely not the glass to give a young kid who might be rough with it -- but a great glass that will be as marvelous as the premium drinks you fill it with. I've already broken 2 of these glasses yet I still purchase them because they are that fantastic.

My husband and I are Riedel fans and have lots of their stemware and smaller glasses. But this was a miss for us.
Clunky shape and not easy to drink out of. Not a great design.
Stick with their old standards!
