We have used these glasses daily for several years for casual drinking. We have tall, tippy, more stylish ones for showy dinner parties, that require hand washing. These, in contrast, not only fit the hand well, but also the top shelf of the dishwasher, and after countless cycles they are still shiny (not acquiring the "foggy" etched surface that all of our previous glasses did). This purchase was to replace broken glasses and to expand the collection. The size is an acceptable compromise for red and white wines, but we prefer the Reidel Ouverture Magnums for reds. They too have proven to be dishwasher durable. A great product.

These glasses are just great, we have been buying these for years my wife loves them this
is a gift to her...the big surprise I received is the quick delivery and the excellent packaging
that went into this small order...tonight is New Years Eve and our friends will enjoy a glass of
red wine or two with dinner...with many thanks to Garys Wine and Marketplace, looking forward to a Happy

I ordered three sets of these glasses after reading nice reviews of similar other Riedel glasses on Amazon. Big mistake. These turned out to be cheap appearing, light weight, almost plastic-like glasses. Now I realize, wine glasses are one of those things that you need to hold in your hands before buying. If you go just by the description and review by others, you are going to be disappointed.

But I have to say, returning the item back to Amazon was so easy. I have been an Amazon customer for almost 8 years. And despite the occasional disaster like this, because of their excellent customer service I keep on coming back.

Riedel makes great glasses but I was surprised how small these were since they are labeled as a "RED WINE GLASS". The extreme size of the modern wine glass is out of control (like holding a fish bowl with a stem)but these on the other end seem more like a smaller traditional white wine glass. If you were only going to have one glass for both white and red these would work but I would not recommend them specifically for red.

Riedel glassware is terrific! We have used it for years and always been very pleased with its clarity and durability. As good as much more expensive products. Highly recommend...

Small, poorly proportioned - Disappointed in this purchase. cheap restaurant level - not what I expected from a Riedel product

These glasses are clearly on the cheap side for Riedel--smallish and no real weight to them. Probably should have spent more to get better glasses.

Seem like lovely glasses when you receive them but they only lasted about 2 weeks- I handwashed them exclusively and simply bumping up against anything else in the washwater caused them to crack- and I don't mean I dumped them in a sink full of dishes- I carefully placed them in a sink with 2 other glasses and went to pick it up to wash it and it had a hairline crack from slightly bumping up against another glass! If you are very anal about washing super carefully, these may be alright for you, but I would never recommend them.

Very disappointed in this purchase...will use for everyday however they are tiny..thought I was getting the same glass that I purchased before...should post the size of these...it would have helped immensely...should have returned them...first time I have NOT be satisfied with a purchase....live and learn
