I had peurchased the Riedel Syrah/Sharaz wine glasses at Bed Bath & Beyond, but I could no longer locate the 4 pack and since I broke a couple (something I excel at), I wanted to replenish my stock. I quickly found them on Amazon and got a really good price - my goal was to match the price I paid at BBB (I used their 20% coupon on my initial purchase at BBB). I was able to find a great price, the glasses arrived quickly, packed well and in excellent condition!

What I like about these glasses is that they are very light to the touch (if you like a heavy glass feel, these are not for you) and sophisticated but without the stem - you do have to be careful if you hand wash them b/c if you try to clean the inside (bottom is much larger than the opening), you can crack the glass. I use my dishwasher and they have held up very well and along with some JetDry, they come out sparkling clean with no effort.

I'm a Riedel addict, and these wine tumblers lived up to my expectations. I looked at the Vivant tumblers, but I like the more fluid lines of the O tumblers better. Plus, the buy 3 get one free deal makes them roughly the same price! This is my second set of O tumblers; I also have the Cabernet/Merlot ones. The Shiraz/Syrah ones are a bit taller and the opening is narrower. I was concerned that they would be more difficult to hold for people with smaller hands, but it turns out that they're no bigger around than my original set. I can't say definitively that they are smaller around as I haven't measured them, but if anything the Shiraz/Syrah ones are easier to hold. We wash ours in the dishwasher regularly, and they've held up beautifully. Also, despite the very fragile feel of them, they're quite sturdy. After three years my fiancé is finally comfortable using our Riedel glasses on a regular basis. We've had only one fatality, and that was because my ferret managed to get onto the counter (long story) and knocked one of our wheat beer Riedels onto the hardwood floor.

I have multiple riedel glasses and am always satisfied. These glasses are no exception.
The additional bonus was the free glass, though this was slightly offset by shipping fees.
If you enjoy stemless wine glasses, these fit the hand perfectly and help decant the wine . The shape delivers the wine to the palate in a satisfying manner.

These glasses are beautiful. It is like holding a bubble in your hand. I do hand wash them as they are so thin they break easily. While they are stemless they are not sturdy. I love drinking out of them but you have to be careful with them. They are for sitting down and enjoying a glass of wine!

This was a great deal for the wine glasses because at Target (and other stores) they were way more expensive.
Great quality wine glasses.

Riedel makes a very good product. I do not have a cabinet full of them because they are too pricey to share with my drunk friends. I bought these to drink whiskey in and they are really good for that.

These glasses are large, beautiful, and fragile. They arrive cleverly packaged and in great condition, but they are all broken a few months after purchase. These are great for use only with wine, or beverages without ice that are not very hot or cold. Ice in them causes them to crack. Any slight tap against the sink or another glass and they break. These are far too expensive to for everyday use, save them for special occasions. I found some at CB2 for $3 each that have held up wonderfully.
