i had bought 2 riedel glasses and one riedel decanter at bed bath and beyond, granted they were the next level up from the "vinum," but they cost more than $300. when i found this set on amazon, i quickly returned the others to BBB. the decanter is very lightweight, which makes pouring wine while tipsy a lot safer. it is a basic design, but gets the job done. and now i can entertain a crowd with my 6 glasses, for the same price i almost paid for 2. only a wine glass expert would have a problem with these glasses.

Amazon usually ships items really well. Not this one. I'm never ordering glassware online again. One glass was broken. Not worth my time to return it. I'll live with it. The price was still very good. The decanter is fine for 1 750ml bottle. Very high quality glasses.
