Store your Waterford or Baccarat crystal wineglasses, or leave them in your china cabinet for "show" only. You won't want to use them again (unless you are having a generic table wine). Over a year ago, I began collecting four styles of the Riedel Vinum Extreme stems, the Riedel Sommelier White Burgundy, and the Sommelier Mature Bordeaux stems. They are my requests from family and friends for all gift-giving occasions. All the Riedels should be filled only to 1/4 to 1/3 capacity, allowing the remainder of the generous bowls to capture, then release, the fragrant, secretive, seductive aromas of the wines to which the stems refer, as the wine is swirrled, then sniffed, for an amazing hedonistic pleasure before sipping and capturing the flavors on the four sensory sections of the tongue, a task the shape and size of the glasses are also designed to accomplish. There is such an amazing difference between these glasses and the many others my husband and I have used during our 27-year marriage. When using the Riedel glasses, a really good, vintage wine tastes like a rare, superb wine; a good but inexpensive young wine exhibits aromas and characteristics we never dreamed they could have. Invest in them! They are worth it! We are currently using our Riedels while taking an on-line wine course together. What an enjoyable activity for couples and friends to share!

Reasonable price for some pretty nice chardonnay glasses. Purchased for my daughter for Christmas. I like them because she likes them. Timely shipping. :)

This glassware, while expensive, is such a treat to drink from.
The chardonnay's nuances come to the nose and palate with extraordinary enjoyment. Wash by hand, dry with linen carefully.

Excellent price for the product. The Riedel glassware has several lines. Many department stores carry the "Vinum" line "O" etc. Vinum Extreme is hard to find and very elegant. Glad to find it and at the most competitive price.

We love these glasses. We have the red extremes also. They are the first ones we go for in the closet.

Have several different glasses from this collection. Great style, easy to maintain (no dishwasher for these) and are more sturdy than they look. Can't wait to complete the whole set!

Oh, and the wide openings diffuse enough of the cheap oak Napa Chardonnay vintners use, to make a so-so wine taste like something better.

Why only four stars for such quality stemware? Because I'm just not much of a white wine drinker. But I sure like having these on hand for dinner guests.
