I had a set of these glasses already and my husband broke one of them, I was glad to see I could find them on Amazon! (you can find ANYTHING on Amazon!)

this is the perfect martini glass....small (I think it's under 5 oz.) but when you want a martini w/o a hangover, this is the glass to get. I would rather make myself a couple of small ones and control my pace, then 1 big one that warms up too fast.

Everybody who makes cheap glassware should be looking to this puppy for inspiration. A martini glass is not meant to be a home for a goldfish, it is meant to hold 3-4oz of gently chilled, vermouth scented gin, the perfect amount to be able to consume before it gets cold. Want more martini in your glass? Make another one you lazy fool.

These martini glasses were purchased to replace some that had broken over the years. The bowls are smaller than the huge glasses you are often given in a martini bar, and smaller than Riedel's premium line. They have a nice weight and balance.

These wonderful glasses - properly called "cocktail", not "martini" glasses - are a joy to both behold and hold, and, most importantly, to drink from. As other reviewers note, they are the small, CORRECT size for martinis AND cocktails.

Here's how I use mine: I always keep two in the freezer so they're ice cold to begin with. I use them to enjoy my variation on the "Bennett Cocktail" - purportedly named after a wealthy Chilean landowner in the 20's? 30's?, not the singer. I far prefer this cocktail to a martini - with due apologies to all martini drinkers, but to each his or her own.

Bennett Cocktail (as slightly modified):

Add CRACKED ice to cocktail shaker +
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
Juice from half a lemon
Juice from half a lime
Dash of Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice
Dash of Angostura Orange Bitters
Dash of "Original" Angostura Bitters
1-1.5oz of your favorite gin (stored in freezer)
Shake well, strain, savor while ice cold.

Got these Martini Glasses at a great sale price. They arrived before expected! Shape and size of bowl is perfect for nice sized cocktail! Weight, fineness of stem and balance make this martini glass a pleasure to use!

Quality item and great size glass. It's the perfect shape in that when you start slopping your martini out of the glass, you've had enough. Quick put it down before you break it.

It has been a little difficult to find the right size for a martini glass and this is just right for us. The feel of the glass is also very nice- the weight and the thinness of the lip is excellent.

These Riedel Vinum glasses are simply the best. Size is okay - certainly not bathtub martini - but who needs that. Like the care instructions too. Packaging was first rate and the quality is stunning. Buy these!

These glasses are very high quality, and perfect size for a proper cocktail. It's getting hard to find a glass in the 4 - 5 oz size, most now are 8 - 12 oz which is way too big for classic drinks like the martini.

Tip: save the box they come in for storing when you move!

These glasses are the perfect size for the evening cocktail-hour martini. I keep two in the freezer so the chilled martini mixture goes right from the shaker into the ice-cold glass. They make the ideal gift for a martini connoisseur.
