I gave these glasses as a Christmas gift with a bottle of Port. My recipient loved the gift and even made note of how nice the glasses were and that "I shouldn't have." I will definitely be purchasing Riedel glasses again, however next time they will be for myself. They are well worth it!

I like these particular glasses for tasting a variety of beverages. With having a shorter stem I feel they are a bit easier to control and wash thus reducing breakage.

Granted having THE specific glass for a particular liquor is ideal if you are on a bit of a budget I find this glass is a wonderful "all around" tasting glass.

The bowl is large enough to permit an ounce or two of wine, port, sherry or liqor to be poured and still have pleanty of empty space to permit the aromas to open. The more consentrated glass mouth helps to emphasize the aromas in the glass.

I like using this for fine Emilio Lustau Sherries (especially their Almacenista's). BTW; those are amongst the world best readily available on the US retail market.

I also use this regularly for various spirits and cordials. Packaging for shipment is perfect!

These were requested by my husband as a gift, but I figured I comment since I use them as well. The quality of the glass is very nice - not to thin and not too thick. We have had very thin glasses and its easy to break them when hand washing. The glass seemed clear with no obvious defects. It came packaged adequately where they were no broken in transit. Personally, I like a slightly smaller glass (the cup portion) for port, but this larger size is fine as well.

I would recommend these for yourself or as a gift - I would buy them again if we needed to get more.

These were well worth the money, I bought them specifically to drink port. Perfect size, perfect weight, very classy, and I am very happy with them. I highly recommend these glasses

I love all of the Riedel glasses I have, and these are no exception. I don't find that they make quite as much difference in the flavor of the port as I've experienced when pairing wine with the correct Riedel wine glasses, but there is still a difference.

Yes, the actual capacity of the glass is larger than some people might expect, but you aren't supposed to fill the glass. Typically, you only fill the glass to its widest part--this allows room for the aroma to fill the glass and add to the flavor.

They're Riedel's.....What more can I say? Lovely glasses. Bought 2 sets with an extra-special bottle of Port and together, they made a fabulous gift. Cheers!
