I was skeptical like everyone else so I put the Riedel glasses to the test...
Poured some wine into an everyday red wine glass and a Riedel glass.
The difference is amazing. More aromas more taste to the palate.
Convince yourself and try it.

You can drink wine out of canning jars, coffee cups, or the bottle. I was doubtful when I read about how Riedel Wine glasses make the experience of drinking wine more enjoyable. I'm the worlds biggest skeptic.... and to top it off, I very cheap!! I purchased 8 Riedel Cabernet/Bordeaux Wine Glasses from Amazon... I got the free shipping option.... what a bargain, and yes I do enjoy the experience of drinking wine from these fine glasses. I went to a neighbors house and drank wine from a glass that was vastly inferior to the Riedel quality. I definately missed my Riedel wine glasses and now I'm definately a believer.

These glasses are great. very nice size - plenty of room for swirling. Oblong shape is great, height of glass is very nice. though they don't fit in the dishwasher top rack. Afraid to put on the bottom, so wash by hand. these glasses made an amazing difference drinking my cabernet instead of out of a rounder generic red wine glass. Great deal for the price, they have good "Thickness" to them, meaning they feel sturdy and fit in the hand nicely. they look nice -- not fancy crystal but at this price very nice quality. Highly recommend.

I have enjoyed owning these glasses for about one month. The rims are very thin and the glasses are comfortable to hold. They are fragile, I broke one of them the first week as I was taking it out of the dishwasher. I only hand wash now.

Trust me, if you don't own nice wine glasses, and you have a nice bottle of wine, the experience is NOT the same. Invest in a good set of Riedel and you can't go wrong.

It irks me when you pay big $$ at finer restaurants and the Sommelier come's to the table with cheap glasses...

They are beautiful glasses and we have owned a lot of wine glasses. But ordered 2 chardonney and 2 merlot and within 3 months all were broken. We hand washed and that itself broke one, moved one over on a table and it tipped over and broke , they will not hold up to everyday use so reserve for only very special sips!

Very delicate so handle with care. So lite ,but it really enhances your wine drinking excperience.For price per value this a great crystal stemware.Shipment arrived two days before estimated.Very nice .

I know most will say a wine glass is a wine glass. I was once a believer that it didn't really matter but these glasses have changed my thinking. There really is a difference in a cheap glass and a quality glass. The flavors that are brought out with better glasses are very evident. Yes these glasses are more fragile that a cheap glass. I'd definitely never use in the dishwasher and always hand wash mine but you still need to wash with care and may still end up breaking them. I do use mine everyday and accept the fact they may get broken. Many just want them for special occasions and that it is fine but believe me, these are sturdy glasses if you are diligent with them and just remember, there are much more expensive glasses out there that are just as fragile.

Overall these glasses definitely improve the wine drinking experience and I'd definitely buy more. You can get a set of four at Target also that come in a four pack for 38 dollars. Not exactly the same as these but nonetheless very nice.

This glass is the right weight and feel for a fine glass of wine. be carefull washing as it is not for dishwashers. YOur wine will taste better in this beautiful glass.

Not the fanciest wine glass you'll get from Riedel, but you can't beat the quality for the cost. I have no regrets about this purchase.
