Smart looking case that properly holds and protects your fine stemware. Can hold 4 Vinum Bordeaux--great for a night out at your favorite BYOB.

Plano Reel Storage Case

I love my Riedel glasses and enjoying good wines. I'm sure this is a fine product but I carry my glasses in this Plano case for fishing reels and it works great. With the fifty bucks you save you can buy some pretty good wine.

I am some where between a wine enthusiast and a wine snob. This is my second purchase of this product and I love it! Many BYOB restaurants do not have the correct glasses for good or vintage wine and this product solves that problem. The carrier can handle even my largest glass (Reidel 30 oz. Sommeliers Bordeaux). The carrier is light weight and is similar to a light-weight computer bag. I highly recommend this product.

This is fantastic! I had it shipped to Australia for $90 including postage and handling.(here they are $200 RRP) It got here in under 2 weeks!
Fantastic to use, previously I would pack up my glasses in their original box to take them to restaurants, this is much easier, great for picnics too, if you feel like having a nice bottle with lunch!

I don't know how I ever did without this case. This is a much more pleasurable alternative to my previous method of traveling with fragile glasses. I used to wrap my glasses in newspaper or rags and then place them in a grocery bag. This travel case is pricey, but found that its convenience led to an increase of traveling with glasses, which led to an increase in wine enjoyment! I easily go to parks and concerts with glasses in tow.

This is one of the best item that I bought from Riedel. Excellent quality! Strong and elegant! Designed for travellers who refuse to savour their vintage wine in a cheap and low quality glass. If I deserve the best at home (using Riedel glass), I also deserve the best when I am travelling. You may feel that is "posh"., in fact, that is posh!

5.0 out of 5 stars Long overdue, June 1, 2008

It's about time! When you're hooked on Riedel wine glasses and restaurants just use ordinary glasses not suited to the wine you're drinking, this is just the thing! Each of the four separators shown has velcro at both ends, so the configurations you can make are almost limitless. I usually take a chilled bottle of white wine plus two Riedel vinum glasses for my husband and me. Nice and tight, keeps the wine cold and is well padded. When we arrive home after dinner, just wash and dry your glasses, put them back into the tote and it's ready for your next dinner out. I've been waiting for this item for ages and now it's here!

Finally purchased a travel case to bring with us to BYOB's when we are having a real nice bottle of wine and don't want to be drinking it out of thick, short wine glasses that most of the restaurants supply. It holds two of our Riedel or Spigelau glasses and I also was able to fit in the Riedel Merlot decanter in the middle. Nice to have a way to transport our wine glasses when we want to without fear of breakage.

My wife and I were very skeptical about Riedell glasses until we did a Riedel Wine Glass Tasting here in Austin. We are now believers, and we now have our Riedel Travel Tote to carry our own glasses when dining out. Sure beat paying retail price and got free shipping, too.
