Ty Herndon has had an incredible career so far and this new addition to his library of hits is a strong comeback for a very underrated country performer. Possibly one of his strongest vocal performances yet, "Right About Now" delivers a power-packed performance with some of his most brillant deliveries yet. The album starts with "Someday Soon" a powerful vocal song of love...."Love is gonna build a bridge from me to you....." and Ty's fans will admit that this song does so. The next ballad is possibly built to be one of his biggest hits "In The Arms Of The One Who Loves Me" brings this CD home. The song shows how strong his vocals still are, holding each note with the lilting tune and his wavering vocal shows so much emotion the way only Ty can deliver it.This song soars. The next tune "You Still Own Me" tells a tale of a love that never can be left behind..."I can do what I,wanna do, be who I wanna be, dream what I wanna dream, but baby, you still own me...." Each and every vocal on this CD is filled with so much emotion, that the listener can feel every lyric with each heart wretching note. Another stand out hit is "Mighty Mighty Love" which has enough power to make it a standard Herndon hit.The title song "Right About Now" is a song of longing for lost love. Another strong tune that could rightfully be a hit. It is a song of missed opportunity in a relationship gone wrong and learning from your mistakes...."Right about now I wish I was more than a memory to her...."The next tune, Love Revival" is a bit more upbeat. A song of love about rediscovering a love that has slipped a bit and longing to revive past feelings. It is a song of love and hope. The next track, "Hide" I think is a bit different as far as country tunes go, but the lyrics are great about trying to show someone there is still hope for love after they have given up. A great song. the music and lyrics are strong and full of promise. "Mercy Line" is a country bopper filled with gospel overtones, yet another song of love renewal. The tune is upbeat and a definite toe tapper. The ninth track, "We Are" is a traditional ballad, love song that Ty has done so well for all these years. A beautiful love song that is worthy of a hit single. "If I Could Only Have Her Love Back" is an awesome song of love lost and longing with a strong country pop backbeat that makes it a strong contender as a hit also. There is not one weak tune on this CD. The closing song, "There Will Be A Better Day" is the final song tying up this awesome package of potential hits. It is a strong ballad of hope and prayer for a better day. Each song has you bopping your head along to the music....it is great country pop, even the sad songs have an upbeat quality that perhaps Herndon himself has finally found himself. The man is a great talent, but has had a hard climb to the top clouded by much controversy. Perhaps this album will be anew beginning and a positive outlook for the artist. Each song is a beautiful testiment of love, whether heartbreak or lovesick, these songs are filled with powerful performances that will convince fans and newcomers alike that Ty is back to stay. Every selection is brilliantly rendered. This is sure to be one of his strongest efforts and should top the country pop charts. Ty Herndon is the BEST voice in country music. He is back with a great CD. His first single is not getting enough air play due to the record label not sending enough to radio, but the single "Right About Now" is one of Ty's best songs ...EVER. If you like emotion in your song...this one has it. Another stand out for emotion is "In the Arms of the One who Loves Me." This is my other favorite on the CD. "Someday Soon" & "Mighty Mighty Love" are radio friendly songs that could reach a wide variety of new fans. This CD is really one of the best CDs to come out in a long time. This CD could make TY HERNDON the BIG star that he should already be. You will not be disappointed :>)

Ty's beautiful voice is back for us all to enjoy -- he is one of the best talents in country music. I'm so glad he's back. Country music fans should not be disappointed in this new album. It rates more than five stars with me.

Ty Herndon is back with the album of his career! The long wait was definitely worth it. This cd contains some of the best material that Ty has ever recorded. "Mighty Mighty Love" is my vote for best song on the cd - just the right blend of country and pop, topped off with an amazing vocal from Ty and uplifting choir backing. Country music doesn't get any better than this! Welcome back Ty!

Ty Herndon is one of country music's most talented artists and that talent is evident on Right About Now. This eagerly anticipated album will not disappoint fans who have become accustomed to Ty's remarkable vocal abilities and songs sung from the heart. Right About Now is right on!

This music on this CD is beautiful. Ty has the best voice in country music and deserves the recognition of a Superstar. These songs grab your soul and leave you wanting more. This CD is worth every penny and Ty should be very proud himself for the work it took to bring him to this level. His voice is strong and his spirit is alive. You'll love this CD!

Ty Herndon's career stumbled after personal problems led him into rehab several years ago and his absence was sorely missed. He's obviously been listening to country radio's evolution as he has roared back with a new CD that places him squarely back in the country mainstream, just a little older and wiser. The stellar title tune "Right About Now" is heartbreakingly remorseful and takes flight when he reaches for his tearful falsetto. He scores strongly on the uptempo numbers "Mighty Mighty Love" and "If I Could Have Her Love Back" and the ballads "We Are," "Mercy Line" and "You Still Own Me" all sound like hits. The closer "Better Day" is a beautiful rendition of the philosophy that has gotten Ty Herndon through his missing years. The only thing holding this fine CD from 5 stars is the weak "Love Revival," the song not being up to the high standards of the rest of the CD although Ty does the best he can with it.

Really, not much to say. I saw his live performance in Athens, Greece, last September and i felt that ...it was all about SOUL and FAITH. Now, Ty Knows! And he is back with the BEST album of his carrer. Great songs, like: "Right About Now", "Mighty Mighty Love", "Mercy Line", "if I Could Only Have Her Love Back", "You Still Own Me" and my personal favourite "In The Arms Of The One Who Loves Me". His voice is still PURE, one of a kind! And i bet, this time Ty Herndon is here to stay. Welcome back, my friend! Country music it's not the same without your heart and your smile...

This CD is amazing!! Ty's voice is stronger and purer than it ever was. The songs reflect his strength and faith in God. "There Will Be A Better Day" was personally a song that got me through a very tough time--I played it over and over during that week. "We Are" is a beautiful love song which describes a romantic relationship that God has a hand in. "Mighty Mighty Love" is an awesome single--gets you singing at the top of your lungs. DO NOT HESITATE--buy this CD!!
