Adele just may be the best of the female British neo-soul artists currently flooding the US airwaves. Her bouyant voice and artistic sensibility seem to indicate that she will stand the test of time and continue to grow as a performer. "Right as Rain" is the latest song to get airplay from her debut album "19". It's a bouncy beat married to a tale of heartbreak and breakup, but there are hints of redemption in the lyrics. But of course, it's Adele's voice that propels this track along. Her slightly raspy and breathy vocals fit the instrumentation and mood of the song perfectly. Excellent track off of a really good debut disk.

I enjoy the whole album, but when Right As Rain comes on I definitely shift in my mood to upbeat. LOVE this song. Thanks, Adele and band. Keep the hits coming.
