Good Jazz Organ Music, April 22, 1999

I have this CD. The reason I bought it was because I saw a TV special years ago featuring Bill Doggett and his band playing tracks from this album. It's a good album. The only thing I can say bad about it is that he has the reverb turned up full on his organ creating a commercialized sound of the music. There are some nice swing tunes and a few vocals. You'll enjoy it! NOTE: He has a brand new release that just came out 4-20-99 called "Every Day I have The Blues" on the Black & Blue label. It has some nice songs and vocals on it. He has the organ adjusted properly on this CD. (It's a re-release of an earlier album from the 70's.)
