After a 4 year hiatus, A split from Atlantic Records, her pervious album Afrodisiac being a commercial flop (I liked the album, though) and a personal tradegy, Brandy Is back and better than ever. With Right Here (Departed), she reunites with long time producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and together, they've created a hot first single off her upcoming fifth album, Human. This could be the proper comeback Brandy fans have been waiting 4 years for. Excellent choice for first single.

Brandy and Darkchild have another gem on the airwaves and in your IPod/MP3 player: "RIGHT HERE (DEPARTED)" is a gloriously written and produced track.
The lyrics are as heartwarming as ANYTHING David Foster has ever written. Brandy's smooth vocals caress the heart and mind and take you to a better place. This song is truly a personal favorite. I've not felt this way about a composition in a long time. I wish to thank Brandy and her musical team for producing and creating such a wonderful piece of art. This song should be on Billboard's Hot 100 for months. Purhcase this track, you'll be a better person for it. It is truly wonderful. Full of love and peace with an extra helping of hope.

Michael K. must be out of his mind! Brandy is back with one of her best! Rodney Jenkins is also at his best! I love the music, ver vocals... can they possibly do better than this??? Maybe, but for now, this is the best! I already love Brandy, I love almost everything that Rodney does, but when I heard this, I couldn't take it off of repeat. Keep it comming Brandy! I'll buy your CD as soon as it's released, as I always have.
