5.0 out of 5 stars Great New CD, July 9, 2002

I've been waiting 3 years for Owen to come out with a new cd, and "Right Here and Now" was well worth the wait. 'Little Sweet Loss' & 'This Ain't Las Vegas' are great songs that will keep you singing them long after you heard them. This cd is a must have for anyone who enjoys listening to Texas Country Music. I REPEAT THIS IS A MUST HAVE!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great NEW CD by Owen Temple, July 8, 2002

This review is from: Right Here and Now (Audio CD)
I just got Owen's new CD and it is awesome. By far his best work to date. The integrity of his songwriting definitly elevates him from a lot of the "Texas Music" pack. He really raises the bar on this new album and the instruments sound great. This guy is a rising star who could easily compete with a lot of the acts on country radio today but also carves out his spot in the alt-country scene. Basically, this album is what good country music is all about...

5.0 out of 5 stars Right Here and Now.... pick it up, June 13, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Right Here and Now (Audio CD)
Right Here and Now, finds Owen Temple picking up where
he left off with his second CD, Passing Through.
More songs about lost love, living and working
in the big city, and what it takes to keep relationships
together. Temple's writing has progressed tremendously
since 1999. On this CD, Owen moves away from the
traditional "Texas" sounds and gets a few new sparks of musicianship from a few great Nashville session players.

The production is with Phil Maidera (instead of Lloyd

Maines) and the sound is a little more raw, edgy and airy.

If you've never heard Owen's music, start with this
CD and then work your way back to his first CD
General Store. You'll appreciate the songs
more and more. Pick it up right here and now.
