a genuine classic!!, October 3, 2005

This is the first album by Cabo Frio. It's funny, now you have Fourplay, Urban Nights, and Down to the bone, But we (at least some) forgot Cabo Frio. It's a shame that this group is underated. These guys are not only first class musicians, but the're teachers and great composers. Every last one of them contribute a song on that album and it's a classic!! I have the LP and I can't wait to listen to it on CD. THIS IS A MUST HAVE in your collection. Great songs, Great arrangements, and most of all Great musicianship!!

This CD captures a lot of the magic of Cabo Frio--but they were even better live! I saw this band many times in Syracuse and Rochester between 1982-1985 and they never failed to disappoint! Grab a copy of this or their prior CD Just Having Fun if you can find them...
