Book Description

What's a girl to do when she whispers another man's name in her fiancé's arms?

When forbidden dreams about the sexy French Dr. Yves Malroux assail her at every turn, Mary-Beth puts her wedding plans on hold. The man would probably not even remember the plump nerd she was three years ago, before she lost her illusions faster than her pounds. Regardless, to be able to marry her fiancé without any reservations, Mary-Beth needs to confront her past, and flies to France for a summer training program in surgery with Yves.

But Yves never forgets an organ he removed from a patient or a woman he dated. And he never forgot the pretty student of Harvard Medical School who has turned into a stunning beauty, and now seems in serious need of coaching about spicing her serious life with some fun and passion.

While too many questions still swirled in her mind, her jealous fiancé summons her back home. Will Mary-Beth let her heart decide who's her right man? Will Yves break his no-strings-attached rule to offer love and commitment?

5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfying Romance November 8, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This contemporary romance has it all: a strong likeable heroine who has overcome problems that will resonate with many readers, a to-die-for hero, the perfect alpha male, and a fantastic setting in the beautiful French countryside. I loved the descriptions of the French town and the chateau. I was transported back to my vacations in France. The secondary characters add depth to the story as they are so well developed and believable. It was wonderful watching Yves and Mary Beth rediscover their feelings for each other and fall in love after the years apart. A very satisfying read and perfect to chill out with during the coming holiday season.

Be safe or take a chance? We'e all come to this particular crossroads before. Right Name, Wrong Man takes us on a journey through surgeries, clinics, wineries, French chateaus, and Paris. 5.0 out of 5 stars Review February 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This story begins with Mary-Beth Drake saying I love you to her fiancé, but the catch is she said the wrong name. This realization takes her back to the time when she was with that man named oddly enough Yves. She was an awkward med student and fell in love with a sexy womanizing French doctor who was visiting, Harvard where she was studying. They had one night of sex and he leaves devastating her. Three years after this emotionally traumatic event Mary Beth has changed a lot; but she is beginning to have concerns about her upcoming marriage to her much older mentor. She has the opportunity to further her career, but in order to do so she must travel to France for three months to train, with Yves. Her future husband encourages her to go to further her career while her friends want her to go to work out her feelings.

Initially Yves doesn't recognize her which proves in Mary-Beth's mind that he is nothing but a womanizer. After spending a considerable amount of time working and living under the same roof, each starts to have a change of heart. Yves begins to develop feelings for Mary Beth, feelings he has a hard time understanding due in no small part to his past relationships. Mary-Beth comes to realize that she cannot marry her fiancé because she doesn't love him. Now that they are both open to explore their feelings it gets interesting. I won't say anymore because I don't want to ruin the story for you, but it will definitely keep you flipping the pages trying to figure out whether Mary-Beth can truly give her heart to Yves and vise versa.

One of the biggest reasons I really enjoyed this book was the main characters romance. It was really easy to relate to the feelings and situations and see myself in those circumstances, which makes for a great read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Honest Characters, Real Life Issues January 29, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
My goodness, who hasn't stuck their foot in their mouth at a really inopportune time! But somehow it all comes out right in this delightful contemporary romance. Mona Risk writes about honest characters and real life issues that tug the heartstrings on every page. I love her settings, exotic heroes (in a market flooded with cowboys and tough military types, a French doctor is a welcome and intriguing change!), and strong heroines that aren't afraid to confront their issues. I highly recommend Right Name, Wrong Man for an afternoon of "me" time, when you want to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea and be transported. It's like a mini-vacation!
