5.0 out of 5 stars Lets make it Platnium, March 16, 2000

All you George Strait and country fans need to buy this one if you dont have it. Buy it for someone who doesn't have it. You Look So Good In Love alone is reason enough to buy it. With others like 80 Proof Bottle Of Tear Stopper, Let's Fall To Pieces Together, Fifteen Years Going Up, and Right OR Wrong are all great classic Strait music. Theres not one unlistenable song on the CD or any Strait CD for that matter. My understanding after visiting Strait's web page is that this CD and one other has not gone platnium. Strait and True country music fans lets make this happen. You wont be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Strait down his usual path, February 8, 1999
This review is from: Right Or Wrong (Audio CD)
"Right or Wrong" is George Strait's third album, and marks his recovery from a slight artistic slump in "Strait From The Heart," his second. This album is excellent from start to finish. You've probably heard "You Look So Good In Love" and "Right Or Wrong," but what about "80 Proof Bottle of Tear Stopper"?

From the subtle pleasing tone of "I'm Satisfied With You" to the nice hook of "Let's Fall To Pieces Together," this is Strait at his best. Pick this one up, especially if you've only heard his post-1995 stuff and want to get an idea of what his earlier work is like.

5.0 out of 5 stars JUST RIGHT!, February 13, 2004

Nothing wrong with this one. George Strait comes through again with songs like "You Look So Good in Love", "Every Time It Rains" and "Let's Fall to Pieces Together."

He's not the King of Country for nothin'. Here's hoping that he has many more in him.

THE HORSEMAN

5.0 out of 5 stars Real Stuff, Real Country, February 23, 2002
This review is from: Right Or Wrong (Audio CD)
Just great stuff! The drums are perfect, the fiddle is very prominent, the steel is awesome, you can the acoustic guitar, and then George Strait sings. He has perfect control. As if with this great honky-tonkin' stuff you'd even care if he had a great voice! With classic songs like 80 Proof Bottle of TearStopper (my favortie) and "I'm Satisfied with You" (Bob Wills) this is one Strait album you shouldn't miss!

5.0 out of 5 stars Right or Wrong is a classic, January 2, 2001

The 3rd of George Straits albums this is part of his classic music. Right or Wrong has many great songs this a classic job done. Again the reason to buy this album is not really for the hits because you can hear those on his greatest hit albums. The main attraction songs maybe 80 proof bottle of tearstopper, Our paths may never cross, and one of the best songs on the whole album maybe track 10 Fifteen years going up one night coming down, every song is listenable and its not boring at all. It has a very distinct sound like Our paths may never cross is a well written song. Unlike George Straits second album Strait from the heart which is also a great classic. I think Right or Wrong has more distinctness to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars RIGHT AS RAIN, August 26, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Right Or Wrong (Audio CD)
The thing I like about George Strait and his music is that, the more he changes, the more he stays the same. Whether you listen to his newest album, Honkytonkville, or Right or Wrong you're in for classic country music from first to last. With tracks like YOU LOOK SO GOOD IN LOVE, LET'S FALL TO PIECES TOGETHER and OUR PATHS MAY NEVER CROSS, Right or Wrong is an essential part of the George Strait collection and it sounds as good today as it did at release twenty years ago.

There is good reason that Strait is often referred to as "The King of Country." The reign just keeps going.

The best album ever recorded by George Strait. Pure and crisp. Great songs like "You Look So Good in Love" song of the decade in Texas. "Right or Wrong" brings a song new to many, but actually a glimpse of the past with this new version of an old Bob Wills classic. His voice, a great collection of songs and the production with great Nashville musicians is the reason this was George's First Gold album. Still a classic for pure country music fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of his best!, February 12, 2011
This review is from: Right Or Wrong (Audio CD)
"Right or Wrong" is probably one of George's lesser known albums. It seems like I never hear it mentioned. It's a great record. I'd rank it as one of his top five. With the re-released of the old records recently, I think this is a great chance to hear an early album by a legend. I'll review my favorite songs because I see singles available up there.

"A Little Heaven's Rubbing Off On Me" is a very funny, extremely country song about a guy who likes to live it up, but his woman is making it hard.

"80 Proof Bottle of Tear Stopper" is one of the most country songs this very traditional artist has ever sung. It's honky tonk. It's worth a listen.

The whole record is.
