Nice if you find it - Dont waste effort searching for it,

Morgan is visiting friends in Greece when she goes down to the beach one night for a midnight swim. Before she knows it a stranger is holding her at knifepoint. She doesn't tell anyone about the incident and few days later Morgan is introduced to her friend's neighbor, Nicholas Gregoras. To Morgan's surprise he's the same man that held a knife to her on the beach! Only this Nick is different than the man Morgan had met, he's more smooth, without the rough edges. Morgan doesn't know what game he's playing. Then, when she finds a body, she doesn't know who to trust. This was a good book. It was not one of those books that you can't put down, but at the end I was happy with the conclusion of the story. If I had never read a Nora Roberts book before this, I wouldn't remember the author from this book. This is a nice book if you come across it. It's definitely not worth searching for.

not exactly bad, but not very good, either,

The heroine in this book is Morgan James, an interpreter vacationing in Greece. Although she intends to relax, that plan is soon destroyed. Instead, Morgan finds herself having to worry about murder and smuggling - as well as a man who may be involved with both, but to whom she still feels strangly drawn, Nicholas Gregoras. This was a quick read for me, both not really an excellent one. If I had read this before reading any of Nora Roberts other books, I probably wouldn't have sought any of those other books out. Although we discover at one point that Morgan has fallen in love with Nicholas, there seems to be no reason why this is the case - lust, I can believe, but not love. The first time they sleep together, Morgan is incredibly drunk and Nicholas knows it. It's not the usual romance that I expect from Roberts. Morgan and Nicholas' relationship isn't very spectacular; it's as though the author wanted mostly to concentrate on the mystery elements of the book and decided that, for the romance parts, passionate kisses and sex would suffice. There wasn't a single romantic moment that made me smile, and I found myself thinking that Nora Roberts has come a long way in her writing since this book was first published (1985). If I want to read a Nora Roberts book with well-meshed mystery and romance in it, then I'll reread an Eve Dallas book, not this.

This Path Leads to Romance and Mystery!,

This review is from: The Right Path (Language of Love No. 26) (Paperback)
THE RIGHT PATH is the story of Morgan James who is on vacation in Greece to try and pull herself out of the rut that was her life. On her first night she is grabbed on the beach and a knife held to her throat. She thought the rut might not have been so bad after all. Morgan stays with friends and meets neighbor Nicholas Gregoras, who is wealthy, gorgeous and a tad mysterious. These two have romantic sparks flying between them from the beginning, while they're trying to figure out whom the bad guys are in the village, that kill on a whim. Is Nicholas the murderer/smuggler, is it Morgan's friends, or someone else?THE RIGHT PATH is one of Nora Roberts first romantic mysteries, and an excellent read!! I can't say the plot is completely unpredictable, but it has enough detours and twists to keep you very interested! The major problem is that this book is out of print and is VERY HARD TO FIND, but definitely worth seeking!

The Not Quite Right Path,

This review is from: The Right Path (Language of Love No. 26) (Paperback)
The Right Path tells you the tale of Morgan James, who is visits her friend in Greece while on vacation, and Nicholas Gregoras, a secretive man that lives there. While this is a okay story, it is far from Nora Roberts best. I found the characters lacking, they seemed to be two-dimensional to me, more Nicholas than Morgan but not by much. At times I found my attention wandering from the book and had to get my focus back in on it, usually N.R.'s books' keep me riveted page by page. I think the main thing was that you didn't see how they fell in love, what made them love each other. You could see they had passion, but you didn't really get to know them all that much. The plot was good and it worked out nicely, I just wish there had better main characters, or at least they weren't so flat.

While I did like this book(which was part of the "Mysterious" 3-book collaboration) I think it could have been a bit more exciting.
