4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Movie., April 2, 2007
This review is from: Right of the People [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This was a good movie, lots of crazy stuff going on, of course Billy Dee handsome as ever, and Ontkean, what a combination! I wouldn't want no town telling me I can't carry a weapon to protect myself and family, but I would not want the whole town going crazy with weapons either! It was a pretty good movie.

3.0 out of 5 stars yes and no.., January 11, 2011
This review is from: Right of the People [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This movie makes both points clear...An armed society is a safer society, but simply giving firearms to ANYONE without some degree of caution in doing so, pretty much takes us back to the old west. The liberals and gun grabbing anti-freedomists just love seeing some over anxious person shoot someone for all the wrong reasons. From a conservatives view, this is not what gun owners want. your gun is your responsibility, as is what you do with it. This movie shows what can happen when a responsible citizen carries, and when the kind of weak minded person who watches too many movies carries. No sane voter ever said to arm without some sort of background check, and no one certainly said to arm convicts either. people who can be responsible, and NOT look for a reason to draw fire, will contribute to a safe, secure enviornment that the first half of this movie portrays. people who think they're some sort of action hero, or dirty harry gone mad should be punished double, and stripped of their gun rights. I carry, and can say that I have not had to pull my piece yet, thank God, but I am ready just in case.
