5.0 out of 5 stars A Country Classic!!
Bryan maybe fairly new to the country music scene but on this album Bryan has shown that he is going to be around for years and years to come. Everyone always complains about their really being no new superstars in country music. HELLO!!! Bryan White is IT!! 3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
Bryan White's sophomore album, "Between Now and Forever" was the most successful and best received in his career, so when he released "The Right Place," he had a tall order to fill. Unfortunately, at the time of its release and still today, it did not meet expectations. The title track brought the CD out the gate at an alarming speed, but sadly the momentum was short...

Bryan maybe fairly new to the country music scene but on this album Bryan has shown that he is going to be around for years and years to come. Everyone always complains about their really being no new superstars in country music. HELLO!!! Bryan White is IT!! He has a wonderfully exquisite voice that exudes passion from every fiber of his body! In the years to come people will be talking about Bryan like they talk about George Strait and Vince Gill....He is defintely LEGEND material. Bryan has a writing talent that most country artists do NOT have. He actually WRITES some of his songs! He is a bright shining star in country and The Right Place only proves it to me that he is one of the greatest singers I have ever heard.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected, May 30, 2009
This review is from: Right Place (Audio CD)
Bryan White's sophomore album, "Between Now and Forever" was the most successful and best received in his career, so when he released "The Right Place," he had a tall order to fill. Unfortunately, at the time of its release and still today, it did not meet expectations. The title track brought the CD out the gate at an alarming speed, but sadly the momentum was short lived, like the rest of Bryan's commercial career. It's not that the songs were bad, it's just that they weren't quite as good as the songs on his previous two records. And because the style of the music was comparable to that of his previous works, the shortcomings of the songs were that much more noticeable. This CD is catchy but lacks the substance that I have come to expect from Bryan White, and the only redeeming ballad on the album is "We Could Have Been." It feels more like labor than a labor of love, and fans of Bryan's would be better served to step back an album to "Between Now and Forever" or ahead an album to "How Lucky I Am" (which had a completely refreshing and new sound altogether).

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD is a Joy, August 17, 1999
This review is from: Right Place (Audio CD)
I'm biased, I love Bryan White's music. This CD is wonderful. Track after track of beautiful singing and music. Love is the Right Place is Bryan's celebration of happiness and love in his life. It will uplift your spirit and make you appreciate your life. What Did I Do is a tender ballad sung sweetly and gently by Bryan. Never Get Around is my favorite song written by Bryan. It is catchy and cute. The Natural Thing will have you tapping your foot and pulling your partner to the dance floor. One Small Miracle is a plea for a lover to return. Tree of Hearts is a celebration of a long and loving relationship and marriage. Bryan truly excels on every one of these diverse songs, with a marvelous voice, feelings, and style. Guaranteed: you will smile and also cry. And, you will say, thank you Bryan for your gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional and toe tapping!, April 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Right Place (Audio CD)
I've been a big fan of Bryan White's music since his first CD was released..."Someone Else's Star" grabbed me from the first listen! I think this CD was completely underrated and some of the songs that should have been released to radio never were. For example, "What Did I Do (To Deserve You)" was easily a hit making single! It's a song full of wonderment and adoration for the love of your life!

This is a great CD for the days when you are feeling melancholy. It's full of emotion and even has a couple of toe tappers in "Right Place" and "Natural Thing".

5.0 out of 5 stars Bryan has amazing talent!!, February 18, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Right Place (Audio CD)
I've heard a lot of people criticizing this album, saying he's lost it, or he's trying too hard (or even not enough). I honestly disagree. Bryan knows what he's doing. He can get you smiling, crying, and even dancing, through every word of his songs. I'm not saying he's perfect--I don't think he's a god, or some sort of super hero. He's human--and that makes him all the more likable. I don't like Bryan because he's cute--because he sings romantically, because he's close to my age--I like him because he's talented, and knows how to use his talent. He's a gem. So, keep up the good work, Bryan--and just remember who you are, and where you--and your music came from. That's all we ask.

5.0 out of 5 stars Album of emotion, November 26, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Right Place (Audio CD)
Bryan White's voice, as always, holds the emotion to make the listen feel what he is feeling as he sings. My favorite ballads are "One Small Miracle" and "What Did I Do (To Deserve You)." However, one of the most well, written songs, "Never Get Around to It" showcases his writing. The album closing song was co-written by Bryan, but he also played drums on this song. This CD is worth buying and I also suggest Lila McCann to anyone who likes Bryan White.

This CD is incredible! It shows growth in Bryan White as a musician, and as a writer. He has found his true niche. The songs on this CD will melt your heart and stir your soul. His beautiful voice is the perfect match for songs like What did I do, Leave my heart out of this, One small miracle and We could have been. This CD is a hit from start to finish.
