Not the right book,

Although the presentation of the book was well done, if you are looking for inspiration on building an actual portfolio this is not the book. It is a series of case studies that don't actually show you want the end result of each design firms portfolio looked like. It only presents what went into the portfolio. If you want to see a bunch a firms' work or if you are looking for best in practices you can pick up a magazine like HOW for about 2 bucks. If you are trying to get inspiration on actually building your portfolio and want to learn more about how the end result should look, try another book. |
