Media Accounts of the House of David,
By House of David Museum "Director" (Benton Harbor, Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Righteous Remnant: The House of David (Paperback)
Robert Fogarty did a great deal of research during the writing of "The Righteous Remnant". The stories he presents have a great deal of truth, but also lack the first hand proof that it would have taken to actually visit the House of David and study the colony indepth. The book does a nice job of telling the many details of the beginnigs of the faith, and offers a great deal of statistical data that the reader won't find anywhere else. To a true House of David buff, this is also a "must read", as it offers something that others have not offered, and gives a different take on the accusations of Benjamin Purnell and the results of the trails of the House of David. Without actually reading over hundreds of newspaper accounts, it would be impossible to acquire the knowledge that is offered by "The Righteous Remnant", which is on display at the House of David Museum, and is used quite often for research purposes of both local high school and college age students, as well as all others wanting to learn the whole mysterious story of the House of David.
