What does corporate responsibility mean and what are its foundations? Should companies themselves be responsible for human rights violations, or their subsidiaries? What principles should guide business in countries known to violate human rights? "'It is to be hopes that the importance of this book is realized in drawing attention to the fact that the treatment and management of these corporations requires as much refinement of approach as does the familiar opposition which they are often given to attract. Given the subject matter of the book, it is unavoidable that this is more a work for the interested reader or researcher rather that one for the day-to-day practitioner.
