Product was as described, BUT was dissatisfied in that you had to hold the "Plate" above (off the page) to enlarge the print. This caused the print be out of focus and was cumbersome.

This item is very sturdy but has swirling lines throughout. I had to tilt it to get the right angle to read without words being blurry. This is great if I don't have my eyeglasses handy, but I wouldn't be able to read for a long period of time using this.
