The different colors are glued together and will fall apart over time. I guess it's best to use non-multicolored sponges.

Unfortunately, these sponges are glued together. We originally thought that our daughter would have fun playing with these and pulling them apart and putting them back together, guess not. They will fall apart in hot water. Complete waste of your money.
