Compared to other targets I have used, the Reinhart 18-1 is holding up better than the others. Holes close up and even broad heads do not tear out chunks of the target. Could be a little bigger. A shot to one side or the other causes target to rotate to the side hit. Base does not anchor the sight in place. Yet to be seen if long term durability will be there but so far,so good. As of now I would buy another.

Target works awesome. Self healing foam works well. This is more expensive than others (for a reason)...it is simply a better product having used many. Just buy this one and be done.

I would have given it 5 stars, but the product arrived with some manufacturing blemishes. In fact many. It does not look clean and perfect like the picture. The black and yellow has some printing defects. Cosmetic only. However, why is it not perfect?!? If you are going to make such a great product, why not go the extra step and have it look as good as it works...

It is hard to get the arrows out of the target. You have to put your feet in it or your knees on it. I have spoke to others who have this item and they have informed me that this item is sensitive to climate changes and it is winter right now so it is making it hard to get the arrows out.

Nice target for my Excalibur Phoenix crossbow. Handles broad heads well. The self healing properties are pretty slick. Practice tips require quite a bit of effort to remove but nothing terrible. This one should last me quite a while. Highly recommended.

I have read many reviews of Rinehart Targets that said they are the best out there. Now, I have to agree. This is one that will stop broadhead tipped arrows, even from my 350 fps crossbow at 20 yards. Getting them out of the target is another story, but that can be overcome with a judicious use of some arrow lube. Only time will tell, but since I shoot field points into my bag target, this one should last a decent amount of time against my broadheads. It is guaranteed against being shot out for one year, in any case. The Amazon price was also the best, by far I have found, with free shipping on top of it!

Rinehart targets are still the best available. When setting up a tree stand this target is easily transportable and gives multiple angles to shoot at.

Since I havent used it yet I wanted to give 4 stars, but why should I punish their rep for that.

From what I can see this product is well made, and very firm,I have no doubt it will perform as well as it appears to be built.

If per chance the product doesnt perform I will update, hope to have it in field within the next 2 weeks.

Edit-Got it out today, this thing is excellent! Self seals like they say, stops 150 lb Vixen II with field points and 80 lb Cobra PVC bolts.NICE!

Edit edit- Very nice quality, used it a lot now, really doing a fine job, this is an excellent product IMO
------------
Edit 5/29/14- Really a sturdy product, love this thing, worth every penny.

Target is smaller than you would expect but it will certainly stop the higher speed crossbow arrows. No longer lose fletchings and typically have no problem extracting the arrow by hand.

I have put about 400 shots in this target so far and it is holding up beautifully. I know that there are some blemishes direct from the factory but i'm ok with that...i'm putting holes in it anyway so who cares. I will say that this target is very weather sensitive. I live in eastern NC and the weather can fluctuate a lot in just a couple of days. I shot in 9 Degree weather and almost strained myself getting the arrows out, taking breaks between pulls. I shot today in 61 Degrees and I could pull with ease. I have used my bear attitude set at 66lbs and a Barnett jackal crossbow. It stops both without a problem and I would recommend for anyone to purchase. I have put multiple broadheads into this target and they are much easier to remove than a field point. Target recovers well from the abuse given and I love it. Here is a tip. If you get your arrows or Bolts stuck in this target because its cold bring it in the house and let it warm up. I never tried anything like a hairdryer but I guess that could work too. spend the money and try your best to shoot it out so you can get another one. at least you will have a ton of fun and practice more often.
