I stumbled across Cori on MySpace and instantly fell in love with her music. I bought the cd and it plays everywhere. I've got a copy in my car, at work, at home and in my cell phone. I love every single song on the cd. There is not a single bad song to be found. My favorite is probably Shatterproof. Cori seems to have the ability to put feelings, that most people can relate to, into music. I don't understand how in the world someone hasn't offered this young lady a recording deal. She's the real deal. She's got incredible beauty and a voice to match it. Now if only she'd travel outside of Florida so I can see her live.

Cori Yarckin's debut CD "Ringing In My Head" may well be the biggest industry oversight in all of 2005. Hopefully her huge presence on myspace will spur some action in the somnolent industry people who missed this artist when she first hit. Think a blend of Avril and Benatar. That should give you an idea of what to expect. You won't be disappointed.










'Ringing in

I do believe that the reason so much music has been illegally downloaded is because while 1 or 2 songs on a CD are great (usually the ones played on the radio), the majority of tracks wind up sucking.

This is not one of those CDs. Corey Yarckin has a rare sound that is reminiscent of classic 80s with a twist of modern millennium rock. Buy it and, like me, you'll be eagerly waiting to buy the next.

5 stars goes to Yarckin for creating a sound worth the price of admission!

Cori sings like an angel on this cd, some old school pat benatar style, but she is all original, That Florida girl can sing as beautiful as she is, I recommend this to anyone that likes music at all, and the music rocks too.

I first saw Cori Yarckin on an english football programme called Soccer AM, she was a soccerette.They showed part of a video to one her song, i thought it was a catchy tune ( Everything You Said ).The album itself is very good, a sort Rock-Pop music abit like Lindsay Lohan,Hilary Duff etc.

I heard cori first time in december.
Than i join myspace and i went often to her site to listen to her amazing voice and music!!!!!
She is amazing singer.
I am an music expert who "live" music since i remember myself.
She is so pro thats its amazing!!!!!!!
She has the voice , shes amazing live act and above that a great personality that treat her 60000 fans on myspace the best she can.
I dont stop to listen to "ringing in my head " .(i have one in my car and one at home...i love that cd!)
Track 5 "i want that" became ny favorites from this cd and its should be an worlwide hit.
I love the entire cd , its so good .
She became my top female artist. thats for sure!!!!!!
Any track on her cd could be an hit single.

I have been a fan of cori since the begining and she is the nicest sweetest person ever.. she deserves all her success..I love this girl she is so amazing. she makes it like you are her friends instead of fans :)


Gratitude

Great song! It's a song you would listen to before you head out to the club. it will pump you up for dancing at the club! it's also a song that would make you and your girlfirends at silly together!

Everything you say

I can relate to this song on a personal level. and I am sure a lot of other girls can relate to! Because the lyrics are so true! it's definitely one of my favorite tracks!

So much for the real thing

I love the begining of this song.Great beat to it. this song i could definitely hear on the radio. it's one of those songs everyone would request, cause they can't get it out of there heads!!

Better

this is a nice relaxing song. i think the lyrics are great. i like this song. I really don't know what to say about it. but the little boy i watch is certianly liking it, cause he is jamming to it..lol

I want that

The begining reminds me of Eminems Lose yourself, but then it starts to sound like a no doubt song. love the lyrics to this song. it's also another favorite of mie. this is another song i could hear on the radio.

Here again

This is another song you could listen to before going to a club. another fun song were you could be silly with your girlfriends!

Nothing Matters now

the beat in the begining reminds me of Shania Twain's song Always and forever!Lyrics are great to this song. i really like the song alot Def. one of my favorite!

Shatterproof

I love everything about this song. the beat, the lyrics everything. it's my all time favorite song! I can relate to this song on so many levels.

another favorite of mine. love it, cause it's slow and has the perfect beat and lyrics are great. the lyrics make me think of a dream..

How the world goes around

another song you could act silly to with your girlfriends. they lyrics and beat really draw you to the song!


Overall

I give the album a 10/10.. I think the album is AMAZING. every song sounds totally different. they are all fun great songs.. your album was so worth the wait! I am so glad that i can say i've been waiting forever and anticipating your album more then ever

Found her in Myspace, loved her music. At first I couldn't find her album, and after going to see her at her show, I was thouroughly impressed. Great voice, catchy riffs, wonderful alternative pop sound. The band has great energy, highly recommend the album!

I quite like this album. It's a little predictable and similar to all the other artists around, but we have to remember that Cori was doing this first. I've known about her for years now. But she JUST got a record out. And it's quite a good album too. Although i have heard better songs by Cori Yarckin (Killing Me and Drown come to mind) some of the songs on this album are also really good. The riffs in "Shatterproof" and "Better" instantly stick in your head. This album is worth listening to and i'd definitely reccommend it to all Pop/Rock lovers. The best songs on the album are "Gratitude", "Everything You Said", "Shatterproof", "So Much For The Real Thing" and "Better".
