Worth every penny. Had ours in about four months now. I know I'm saving on propane but really won't know until the next refill on tank.
My old heater was what they called a ''direct vent'' and would have cost me a little less than the Rennai. Glad we went this route. I sure don't miss that big tank in my garage! One less flood factor! Wish We would have timed how long it takes hot water to get to tap with the old heater, At the most it only takes maybe a few more seconds than the old one did. If that? Make sure you hire a qualified plumber with tankless experience to do the install. I read alot of reviews about bad or unacceptable installations. Don't cheap out on this!

Excellent purchase. Instant hot water. Space saving since it's mounted outside. Only drawback we've experienced so far was when the temperature dipped to -20 and the igniter had some problems that resulted in no hot water for a few days. Other than that, showers on well water for days!

The installation of this water heater was very easy. Make certain that you order the water heater valves and proper vent kit to install. I've had it in for six months without any problem. The prevous tankless that came with the house lasted 21 years and was to small to operate more than one fixture at a time. This size is perfect for being able to run the shower and more than one faucet at the same time.
