We bought this about six months ago and it has been wonderful!

They don't open or close properly and the water either leaks when you close it or doesn't flow will full force when the valve is opened.

I was concerned about this after I read some of the less favorable reviews, but ordered it anyway because I really couldn't find anything else that would serve the purpose without having a full time hand held unit in the shower. Very easy to intstall and then later connect and disconnect. I use it when the shower needs heavy duty cleaning (lots of hard water stains) and there are several products that need to be applied, scrubbed, then rinsed off. This has made the job much less formidable now that I don't have to use a pot of water to try to rinse the glass and walls. I recommend this to anyone thinking about it.

Complete waste of money. The cheap piece of plastic that is supposed to screw in between the shower head and the pipe coming out of the wall was too short -- and far too flimsy. It never seated properly and continually leaked, even after using ever increasing layers of thread tape.

I bought one of these for washing my dogs in the bathtub. It works really well. So well, I bought another one and gave it to my mum for a Christmas present for washing her dogs.

My only concern is the plastic connector part that gets put in place along the shower head pipe. It has chrome paint on it but it is plastic. It has held up fine for me for occasional dog washings But I think I would want something sturdier if I connected this shower hose more frequently.

It works amazingly well for washing dogs. It has a lever to reduce/ stop flow so you are not wasting water. It has a gentle shower-like flow that does not blast the dogs. There is no way to make a more forceful flow. Hose snaps on and off fairly easily. I have to stand on the edge of the tub to make the connection but I am okay with that.

In closing, this Rinse Ace Snap n Spray is perfect for my purpose. I am very pleased. Recommend.

I was looking forward to receiving this item and was very disappointed when I received it. The plastic hose was not pliable so the loop from it being rolled up remains. The threads are worn (on the part that screws onto the shower pipe) and it leaks so you can't keep in place while not using the snap on hose unless you want a wet ceiling (even with Teflon tape). Most of the water squirts out of the valve area where you snap on the hose with the sprayer. Nice. It lasted a few hours in my home before it went in the recycle bin. The energy of packaging it and returning was not even worth my time. "you get what you pay for". Very cheap. What made me the happiest about this product was writing the review.

We bought this about six months ago and it has been wonderful! We have 4 dogs of all sizes and the hose is long enough to reach the hind-end of the large dogs and low enough to reach the little dogs. At first the hose seems stiff, but as soon as warm water runs through it, it becomes pliable. The on/off lever is so easy which is important when you need every hand for washing a wiggly dog. I leave it connected after bathing the dogs so I can wash out the tub more easily. Our purchase came with 2 connectors so we were able to put 1 in each bathroom. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

My wife and I have owned three of these sprayers over the last 5 years, and all of them have worked well for a while. We bought our first one as a pet sprayer (sold under a pet supply chain's store brand, but manufactured by Rinse Ace), and with periodic use of (2-3 times a month) it lasted about 3 years. At that point, we started having a problem with the lever on the sprayer head. When we would push the lever down to the closed position, it wouldn't stay in place - it would pop back up slightly, allowing some water to come through. The only way to stop the water completely was to hold the lever in place.

We had liked the sprayer well enough that we bought a replacement, and it came in quite handy when I broke my leg and needed a way to shower without getting the cast wet. We had had the second sprayer for at least year when the time came for our baby to graduate from a baby tub in the kitchen sink to the bathroom tub, and the sprayer proved to be a great tool for bathtime. After being used daily for several months, it developed a new issue - if the hose was tugged or bumped just enough, the quick-connect end would pop out of the shower connector, causing water to suddenly begin flowing through the regular showerhead. The first time this happened, it was a quite a surprise for me and the baby!

Still, we had been happy overall with the sprayer, so we bought a third one. At that time we also bought, directly from the manufacturer, a metal connector to replace the chrome-coated plastic connector that comes with the sprayer, hoping to prevent the hose-popping issue. The metal connector seems much more durable, and the product would be significantly improved if they would include the metal version by default.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I received it and the thread portion broke off during installation...I had no idea it was plastic...If it hadn't of broken up front, I'm confident it would have in a very short time frame. If it was PVC it would work but not CHEAP plastic.
