It's a great idea and a good chair.
Unfortunately it doesn't work well on sand.

It has nice big wheels which are good, but the bottom of the chair aluminum is 2" below the axle and only an inch and a half above the wheel tread. That bottom rail drags constantly in the sand, so it is only a little better than dragging something across the sand.
The axle corrodes after a few days. It could have been made better.
Otherwise it is a nice chair sitting.

Great Chair! I am always on the search for the best beach chair..and I finally found it! It's perfect for carrying all of your stuff, sturdy and sits higher off the floor than most chairs..You will love it!

We bought these thinking they would be great for the beach, but we pulled the trigger to fast and didn't do our homework. First they are steel, not aluminum and so they are heavy. Second, while rolling them they keep opening up and you have to stop and close them. You cannot roll them backwards because the front bottom leg drags on the ground. Third, no cup holder. I am presently looking for new beach chairs and I will REALLY do my homework this time.

I found it much too heavy and it was too low to the ground.....I presently have a chair, on wheels, that has a higher seat and it is perfect for the beach for the "older folks"....looking for something similar as I go to the beach 5 out of 7 days from June to August. I returned it immediately! Definitly not satisfied and the vendor from whom I purchsed it (not Amazon) tried to convince me to keep it....not easy to return. I still have not had the cost taken off my charge.

This chair is great and so convenient. Sure makes it alot easier walking to the beach. You can put your beach bag on the seat of the chair.

very comfortable chair. well made. rubber handle is comfortable to use but is too short - the heels of my feet keep hitting the chair as I pull it along. Easy to fold.
