This soundtrack features the two main rhythms of Rio de Janeiro, Samba and Bossa Nova, and blends traditional and current music.
Besides, it pleases both parents and children (my 3 year old son loves dancing to the sound of "I Want to Party").
As others have mentioned, you need to watch the movie before you buy this soundtrack.
In my opinion this is the best animated film soundtrack I've ever seen.

My 5 year-old son and I enjoyed the movie and the music was fantastic, I could not wait to order the soundtrack of the movie...it rocks! If you have not seen the movie yet or had not yet the chance to listen to the music, do it! It's just positive energy that will help combat the daily stress.

I enjoyed the movie but I enjoyed the music even more. If you are a fan of Brazilian music or at least can appreciate its beauty, this is a good CD to have. I work with children and they enjoy listening to it and singing along. Add it to your collection!
