In this multiplayer video game, Blu goes on the adventure of his life, with the help of his female counterpart, Jewel, and a group of wisecracking and smooth-talking city birds. Blu and his new friends journey through Rio, dodging soccer balls, collecting tropical fruits and soaring across the beach. 4.0 out of 5 stars 9 yr old loves this game!! August 17, 2011

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
My 9 year old daughter LOVED this movie and is thrilled with all of the "mini-games" on this Wii disc. Some games require the numchuck ... Just FYI. Again, this is a bunch of mini games. Being a mom, I am not skilled with the Wii ( I prefer PC games), but there is not much of a learning curve for this game at all. The only tiny issue that I have is that it is hard for me to concentrate on which character on the screen I am controlling. I don't think kids have that problem...lol.

4.0 out of 5 stars fun game; lots of minigames June 5, 2011
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
This is a really fun game, probably good for kids. I bought it for myself-I just like fun, colorful games that have good replay value. There are lots of minigames & a few different modes to play. It has great graphics, OK soundtrack (didn't see the movie), & good replay value. Only downside is there are only 4 different characters to play with-hope to unlock more along the line.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice game November 25, 2011

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
This game is fun. I like the storyline being told by different characters. Luiz is not as good. His voice is done with slightly less energy than the movie. I would heed the Everyone UNDER 10 though. My 5 year old can follow the storyline, but the games are too hard for him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Multiplayer game December 14, 2011

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My kids (8 and 11) loved Rio. Yes, they wanted more of an Angry Birds game... But... what a hoot this turned out to be.

Some movements are tougher for the younger (if your oldest is 7 it may be tough). My older pulled the younger through just fine. They finished the map in a short time.

The mini games are awesome. Especially the one where each player gets a chance to spin the wheel and get bonus points if they win the round. 4 player action is fun.

It is tough for me to keep track of my bird on the screen. I have to have to same color bird as my player color. Our younger child does better matching the colors up too.

All in all we love this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for all ages! January 2, 2012

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
We have 4 players in our home at different levels of ability and we can all play this together and compete "equally". The games are short and quite varied allowing everyone to shine with different games. I love it. I am the weakest link in our family and I can finally join for a game of Wii.

4.0 out of 5 stars nice graphics but repetitive mini games March 15, 2012

Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
the game has high production value in terms of graphics. all the areas/maps are beautifully rendered in 3d. my wife commented that this game has better graphics than the average wii game. from the buildings in the background right down to the confetti that falls during the awards scene. no flat blurry photo textures. just 3d objects. unfortunately the minigames dont have much variation in gameplay. most of them are dodge an object or a glorified air hockey type of game.
