I learned of Riopelle' technique,methods &approach from this little tome. No repros just talk about his beginnings, his growth,his life. The book satisfied the interest I have of the artist. I can't find my copy: lost among my other books . I believe I got this book from Amazon.His concept Is close to lover ,Joan Mitchell "vast fields of color" Mitchell has ascended in importance,whereas Riopelle remains an artist of the "fifties"As an inexpensive small paperback, it packs a lot of information on the purveyor of huge amounts of paint
