I love Stephane Renaud, and I love his first book, Pork & Sons.
Just buy the book for the gorgeous photos and stories......the recipes are a bit difficult, only because the ingredients are nearly impossible (especially the French pork products) to find in the U.S., even in NYC. It's a nice coffee table book, heavy and pretty to look at. Makes me want to go to France again and again.

Something for everyone,

Wonderful book for anyone who cooks. Many easy recipes as well as a few that are more difficult. You will not want to make them all, different strokes, but it is definitely not just for the coffee table if you are one to venture into the kitchen at all. I have made several recipes and they come out well. The drawings, stories and pictures are an added treat. You will love this book as a staple reference for French cooking. Enjoy.

This is a festival for your eyes, your imagination, your heart, and your stomach. Another success by Stephane.
