This book is a voice for the pain that many feel but cannot express, because the silence has become their weakness. Life is not about blame, but rather about choices.

I actually went to junior high and some of high school with Michele. Her story was her struggle with many demons of her past. While reading her book, I felt like I was sitting there with her, sharing a cup of coffee while she spoke to me. As we lost touch (as she said in her book we would), there were many things I did not know. Michele's book inspired me to get back in touch with Jesus, to remember how I was raised and also helped me to see the crosses I carry in my life that can and should be turned back over to God. Even if I had not known her, many of her struggles have been mirrored in my own life. I recommend this book to anyone struggling with their own demons or anyone who has taken their life back into their own hands, instead of giving it to God. God Bless You and Yours Michele. Thank you for sharing your pain for the Glory of God.

Ripened On The vine,
By Cindy Madden (Omaha, Nebraska) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ripened On The Vine (Paperback)
This is a book for those who are without hope. Written as though the author is telling her story to the reader, one-on-one, it captures the despair and joy experienced by one human being. While September 11th was an unthinkable national tragedy, many have experienced the collapse of their "own tower" before they even had a chance to begin their life's journey. Ms. Davenport's story begins with trauma and ends with healing and wholeness. It is the story of one woman's life; of things out of her control, and the choices she made because of those things. It is a story of resurrection; a story of how hope and renewal can spring out of ashes and destruction. Ms. Davenport is to be commended for her honesty. She gently guides the reader through the process of her own ripening on the vine.

There is nothing to big or to small for GOD!,

This book is an awsome book on how God is faithful and true to the promises of His Word. The story was real and had true meaning. It isn't just a book on how God heals and delivers, but it is a story of Hope and how God is always there even when you don't think he is. In this book God always stays true to his promises according to his word. I call it "A Book of Hope", because if God can take Michele through the trials and tribulations that she had to endure, there has to be Hope for somebody out there that is going or has gone through the same things. This book will speak to those that are lost and show them that there is God and He can at anytime come and calm the storms in our lives if we will just let him. Awsome story and what an Awsome God we serve. Way to go Michele keep being obedient.
